        Mathias Laen was the son of Joannes Lanen and Catharina Bakelmans. Mathias Laen was baptized on 12-Apr-1618 at Catholic Church, Overpelt, Leige, Belgium. Mathias Laen was born before 12-Apr-1618 at Overpelt, Leige, Belgiun. He married Maryken Gijsberts on 1-Nov-1640 at Dutch Reformed Church, Tuil, Gelderland, Netherlands. Mathias Laen married Adriantje Hendricks on 20-May-1663 at Kings County, New York. Mathias Laen married Adriantje Hendricks after Mar-1663. Mathias Laen died circa 1677. He died before 1683 at New Utrecht, Kings County, New York.
        He was also known as Mattys Jans Lanen Van Pelt. He was also known as Mattys Janszen Lanen Van Pelt. He immigrated in 1663 to New Netherlands; on the ship Rosetree. On between 1675 and 1676 His name appears on the assessment rolls of New Utrecht.

        Adriantje Hendricks was born in 1629. She married Mathias Laen, son of Joannes Lanen and Catharina Bakelmans, after Mar-1663. Adriantje Hendricks married Cornelis Wynhard on 20-May-1683 at Flatbush, Kings County, New York. Adriantje Hendricks married Mathias Laen, son of Joannes Lanen and Catharina Bakelmans, on 20-May-1663 at Kings County, New York. Adriantje Hendricks died circa 1690 at Brooklyn, Kings County, New York.

        Jan Thysen Laenen was the son of Mathias Laen and Adriantje Hendricks. Jan Thysen Laenen was born in 1667 at New Utrecht, Kings County, New York. He married Aeltje Van Duyn, daughter of Gerret Van Dien and Jacomyntje Swart, circa 1687 at New Utrecht, Kings County, New York. Jan Thysen Laenen died in 1707.
        He was also known as Jan Thijssen Laenen. He was also known as Jan Van Pelt. He gave oath of allegiance in 1687 at Newton, Rhode Island.

        Adriaen Lane was the son of Mathias Laen and Adriantje Hendricks. Adriaen Lane was born circa 1673 at New Utrecht, Kings County, New York. Adriaen Lane was born in 1672. He married Martyntje Smock, daughter of Hendrick Matthysen Smock and Geertje Harmons, before 1706; first marriage Adrian. Adriaen Lane and Jannetje Van Sicklen obtained a marriage license on 27-Jan-1705/6. Adriaen Lane died in Jan-1761; probable. He died after 1758.
        He was also known as Adriaen Van Pelt. He was also known as Adriaen Arie Lane. He was also known as Adrian Thyssen Lanen Van Pelt. He was also known as Adrian Thyssen Lanen Van Pelt. He was also known as Adrians Lane. On 1693 on the assesment role.
There appears from Van Sicklen records that there may have been no children from his marriage to Jannetje Van Sicklen in 1707. He resided at at Readington, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, in 1711. He a farm from Thomas Stevenson of Pennsylvania. Either on this or on an adjoining land he had, at one time, was a mill owned by John Van Sicklen. Adriaen deeded his homestead part, of about 170 acres to his youngest son Cornelius. who died in 1785, at Shrewsbury, to which place he removed prior to his death, left the plantation by will to his two sons, Aaron and Gilbert. They divided it in 1797, Aaron taking the half which extends to the village of Readington, and Gilbert the part sout of it. Aaron's part descended to his son Aaron and to his son Marjor Aaron Lane, who died on the place in 1889. Gilbert did not live on his half part, but rented it. Upon his death it descended to his son, Cornelius C. who sold it during his lifetune to his son John C., and at his death 18 1883, his son, James who is now living at Flemington, purchased it and resided on it until April 1, 1911, when he sold it to Peter Johnson. On 6-Dec-1718 at near, Readington, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. He held the position of Freeholder in 1721 at Readington Twp., Hunterdon County, New Jersey. He resided at at Bedminister Twp., Somerset County, New Jersey, in 1761; or Bernards Twp.
