Individual Note: From Leroy:
Divorced 1925 John left Inglewood, CA 27 Oct 1925
He was 55 yrs old when they divorced I assume about 1925 based on letter from Millie Barthelemy...
The Tatham ranch lies at the mouth of LaGarde creek, famous because of the fact that Major Schnitger, loved
and honored by many Wyoming peo ple, owned a ranch near its exit from the mountains. The. Schnitger ranch
still belongs to the estate, and doubt-
less will not be disposed of till the i William Schnitger children arrive at i their majority. There are only two ' ranches on this stream, the Schnitger ;
ranch and the Pache ranch. Mrs. \ Pache lives there and is doing well financially, she being one of the few ranch women who have made a suc¬cess in the management of cattle, horses and other matters commonly supposed to belong exclusively to the sterner sex. The sad tragedy of her husband's death added lines to her face, but she is bearing her sorrow with fortitude and patience. La Garde creek is one of the tributaries of the Big Laramie that acts as a nat¬ural trout hatchery. It is tilled with thousands upon thousand of brook trout, with an occasional rainbow to relieve the monotony. The rainbows, for some reason, do not take kindly to the tributaries, but prefer the main stream.
