8 March Sunday River

My rental car at Sunday River. Wildcat was just too bleak for words but here there was coverage.

Spitting snow as an overnight disturbance passed on

Where they made snow (everywhere at Sunday River) the skiing was not bad

Firm but okay

Most of the lifts were on windhold so I spent a lot of time on this T-bar

Frozen groundwater on an actual ski trail

The higher trails were not open and glinted icily in the sunlight

Overlook on a deserted highway as it crested the Appalachians between Sunday River and Rangeley Lake
