20-26 January NOLA Second Week

Starting the second week in NOLA (January 20) about where we left off with the first (with Connor smiling)
And big sister helping out. In this shot, Connor is noticing that there's a phone pointing at him (again!)
Now he smiles, as if on command
It's 7 AM on Tuesday January 21 and, as forecast, there's a dusting of snow
The foliage of these tropical plans is not frozen (yet)
School is closed for "snow day"( and will remain closed until Friday morning!)
The snow keeps coming down (this is at noon)
There's 4-5 inches on the porch where the snow has been blown into drifts
Valerie and Liam have been in snow before, but not in their own backyard!
The snow sticks to Liam's sweat pants
He's got good winter gloves and coat but the rest of his attire is collecting a heavy layer of snow which needs to be shaken off and dried indoors
But the snow fun lasts at least an hour more
Lots of build up on the porch
Now the snow is also building up on the front porch
Some people haven't gotten the memo about staying put
Around 3:30 PM Vivianne gets out the snow shovel
She's got her skiing outfit on and keeps warm with all the exercise
There's nearly 10 inches on the steps and outside the front yard
Making a path to the road
