Lodging in Tende
Very Ikea but much preferred over any kind of hotel: it has a kitchen
Simple but spacious
Tende looked a bit the worse for wear
More of an Italian hill village than a part of the Côte d'Azur

But behind the grubby facades, an interesting village

There is a long via ferrata along these cliffs
We stayed on the trail
At the top, a route that we could've taken back down but did not
